This policy explains how opsinghips.com (“the site”), operated by O. P. Singh, handles the personal information you share with it. We keep it short because the site collects very little.

• Information you give us. When you fill in a sign-up form, we collect the details you enter — your name and email address, and, where the form asks, an optional WhatsApp number and city. You also tick a consent box before submitting.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our host records basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type in standard server logs. The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address in order to serve the fonts.

How we use your information

We use the details you provide only to:

• email you the free book chapters you asked for;
• send you a single alert on the day a book goes on sale; and
• send occasional updates about the books and new writing, if you opted in.

We do not use your information for automated profiling or advertising.

Consent

We process your information on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form. You can withdraw that consent at any time — every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can write to us at the address below.

Who we share it with

We share your email details with the email service provider we use only so that it can deliver the messages above. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, after which we remove them from our active lists.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time, and you can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. To do so, write to books@opsinghips.com and we will act on your request.

Children

The site is intended for adult readers and is not directed at children under 18.
